Have you ever wanted to start a business? We all have and wake up everyday trying to figure out the best path. Let me give you some advice; real quick.
Don't just start a business to have one!
Identify the problem you want to solve and be passionate about it. Once you identified the problem, think about what resources and getting a team or network that has the same passion as you. Do you have the experience, skills? Leadership?
Do you understand the investment, sacrifices demanded? You have to be willing to invest your time and money. The bigger the investment the bigger the reward.
Be mindful that it's not going to be easy and grow some thick skin. You're going to need it; because more than likely you may fail a few times before you find the right formula that fits you.
Last thing, research is critical, however, I feel I need to share one lesson that I learned. That is there will be a lot of gurus trying to sell you on their own formula or get rich quick system. I began to learn that their information is great as building blocks, but not entirely what I need to be successful. I pieced and glued all my failures and learned from them; and the lessons I learned I amended them to all my successes.
Building a successful business is nothing but trial and error.
Are you stubborn enough not to give up and grind all the way to home run?
